UIQ 2.x

UIQ 2.x is the first commercially available mayor version of the UIQ user interface. It is used in smartphones from Arima, BenQ, Motorola, Nokia and SonyEricsson.

There are two minor version, 2.0 and 2.1, which are highly compatible.

The third mayor version, UIQ 3.x, is not binary compatible with UIQ 2.x, and applications for UIQ 2.x do not run on UIQ 3.x and vice versa.
