Series 80 V2 is the second version of the Series 80 platform, which began its life as the Nokia 9200 Series Communicator platform.

The introduction of certain features has resulted in a number of binary compatibility problems between the two versions of the Series 80 platform, and applications for one version do not always work properly on the other version.
